Demand for new passenger cars in the EU kept growing in November (+16.3%), totaling nearly 830 thousand units sold and marking the fourth consecutive month of growth.
Among the biggest markets, Germany posted the highest performance (+31.4%), followed by Italy (+14.7%, with 119,853 registrations, about 15.3 thousand more than in November 2021), Spain (+10.3%) and France (+9.8%).
From January to November 2022, registrations in Europe were 6.1% less compared to last year, with 8,359,317 units overall. All main national markets contracted: Italy -11.6% (with 1,211,769 units, nearly 160 thousand less than in the first eleven months of 2021); France -8.7%; Spain -4.4%; Germany -2.4%.
