Demand for new vans grew by 8.5% in the first three quarters of the year, with a total of 1,170,310 units sold, thanks to the strong performance of all major national markets: Spain +16.7%; Germany +8.2%; Italy +7.3% (with 150,555 vehicles registered, about 10,000 more than in the same period last year); France +5.8%.
On the other hand, the truck market contracted by 7.5%, reaching 249,708 units over nine months, partly due to declines in the German and French markets (down by 7.0% and 4.3%, respectively), while Spain recorded a 12.0% growth, and Italy followed with +2.1% (with 22,633 trucks sold, nearly 500 more than in 2023).
Bus registrations increased by 16.0%, with a total of 27,400 units, mainly due to strong results in Spain (+21.8%) and Italy (+21.0%, with 4,798 registrations, over 800 more than last year).
In terms of power source, diesel remains the dominant choice across all segments: 84.6% for vans, 95.3% for trucks, and 66.6% for buses.
